Recording Workshop Course

The Recording Workshop

Welcome to The Parlour Recording Workshop, a 4-day course for anyone with even the most basic recording skills who wishes to expand their knowledge of recording techniques and get hands on experience in a working studio environment using both traditional analog equipment and the latest ProTools HD recording system.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the entire recording process from setting up microphones to mixing a song. Over the four day workshop you will be shown all the essential aspects of recording and mixing a song from start to finish, see below for an outline of the subjects that will be covered. Numbers will be strictly limited on each recording course to maximize the learning potential and hands-on time available. The genre of music will normally be rock, metal or indie depending on popular demand and band availability.
